Adding feeds directly to Google Reader in Firefox

Rambling on about Google 56 months ago.

While talking with my mate Brett the other day, he was lamenting how frustrating it is that Firefox doesn't have an option to always add directly to Google Reader but instead shows you the stupid splash page letting you decide each time.

Who adds their feeds to Google Homepage (or iGoogle as it's called now) anyway?.

A quick Google and wham, there's the answer:

1. about:config
2. Set browser.contentHandlers.types.2.uri to http://www.google.com/reader/view/feed/%s
3. Restart Firefox
